No, it's actually a whole new type of top loader that we are launching with our Cardzilla Deck Box! We designed it to provide more compact display and protection. They are even small enough to fit in trading card storage boxes!

Standard size (2.5 x 3.5 in) or smaller. Magic the Gathering, Pokémon, Flesh and Blood, and One Piece will all fit perfectly. Smaller card sizes like Yu-Gi-Oh! and Lorcana cards also fit great!

The ribs (or grooves/ridges) are a necessity; they prevent you from overloading the box to the point where your cards become permanently locked in. We fine-tuned the locking mechanism so it's super easy to open yet secure enough to stay shut when needed. Please see 'Shake Test?' on the campaign page.

Not much. Cardzilla is the result of secret government radiation tests gone wrong when a small lizard and a deck of playing cards were caught in an atomic blast. Here at Cardzilla, we know it, the government knows it, and we think you should know it too.

Does the hole in the back of the PFTL (Perfect Fit Top Loader) defeat its purpose? Not at all. The PFTL wasn’t built for maximum card protection—it was designed to make the deck box more compact. A standard top loader (3" x 4") would require a much larger box. Plus, without the hole, it would be extremely difficult to remove your card without causing damage.
